R-Score
The R-Score (cote R) is a calculation of Quebec college students’ grades used by the province’s universities when they consider applicants for admissions.
Marianopolis students tend to have the highest average R-Scores in the province. Two thirds of Marianopolis graduates have an R-Score above 30, making them eligible for most competitive university programs. In several highly competitive programs, Marianopolis students occupy more spots each year than all other Montreal English colleges combined.
Coming to Marianopolis will help, not hurt, your R-Score. That is because a key component of the R-Score is the academic strength of the group, and at Marianopolis you are surrounded by strong students who had good grades in high school.
What's more, students with the same incoming high school average do better at Marianopolis that they do elsewhere. A big indicator of this success is the ability to graduate on time. That is something our students do extremely well compared to students at other schools. On average, Marianopolis students graduate on time at double the rate of students in other pre-university colleges.
Here is data from each program showing how coming to Marianopolis helps you get into your university of first choice.
